Self-cleaning – without interruption
Water flows through the filter element from inside to outside. Dirt particles remain on the inner screen – and are automatically removed.
Filtration
Raw water flows through the screen element from inside to outside. Dirt particles remain inside and form a filter cake. The differential pressure rises continuously.

Filter Cake Formation
The retained particles form a filter cake on the inner screen. The differential pressure rises until the set threshold is reached – then self-cleaning starts automatically.

Self-cleaning
When the differential pressure is reached, the flush valve opens. The motor rotates the suction nozzles in a spiral pattern along the inner screen – the vacuum precisely removes the filter cake.

Value Recovery Instead of Wastewater Fees
A multi-stage solid-liquid separation that produces dry animal feed from wastewater
Hard-to-capture fat agglomerates in wastewater are first concentrated through a filtration stage. The flotation of the load is deliberately utilized. A drum filter then separates the fat particles dry. Solid-liquid separation without consumables.

- Application: TOC reduction to lower wastewater fees
- Challenge: Unstable fat agglomerates that float and settle
- Solution: Concentration through vertical PSK filters and dry separation via a drum. The fats are sold as animal feed.
