Reliable Surface Water Filtration
aquaPROFI self-cleaning filters for well water, surface water and open cooling circuits. Fully automatic, without interruption – 24/7 operational reliability.
Why aquaPROFI?
Reliable performance for harsh environments.
Protection Against Contamination
Precision wire mesh down to 2 µm guarantees clear separation and reliably protects against organics, sediments and suspended solids.

Minimal Maintenance
Designed for maximum serviceability. Replacement of wear parts without lifting tools and in minutes directly on site.
Modularly Scalable
Filters are not loners.
Redundancy, flexibility and reserve ensure uninterrupted operation and interfaces for growth.
Engineering Excellence
We deliver not just components, but also mobile complete system solutions for demanding applications.
- In-house manufacturing from container adaptation to PLC programming
- ISO 9001 Certified

Self-cleaning – without interruption
Water flows through the filter element from inside to outside. Dirt particles remain on the inner screen – and are automatically removed.
Filtration
Raw water flows through the screen element from inside to outside. Dirt particles remain inside and form a filter cake. The differential pressure rises continuously.
- Water flows axially into the screen element
- Particles are caught on the inner screen
- Differential pressure rises as trigger

Filter Cake Formation
The retained particles form a filter cake on the inner screen. The differential pressure rises until the set threshold is reached – then self-cleaning starts automatically.
- Filter cake improves fineness
- Differential pressure monitoring triggers cleaning
- Threshold freely adjustable
Self-cleaning
When the differential pressure is reached, the flush valve opens. The motor rotates the suction nozzles in a spiral pattern along the inner screen – the vacuum precisely removes the filter cake.
- No interruption of filtrate flow
- Vacuum removes dirt precisely across the entire surface
- Only 30 seconds flush time and minimal backwash volume

Three examples where you can still see the water body – surface water filtration in practice.

Seasonal Heat Source
River water extraction for a heat pump
Surface water drawn directly from a river is filtered for the operation of a heat pump. Algae, leaves and sediments are continuously screened out – without manual intervention, without interruption.
- Water Source: River (surface water)
- Application: Heat pump (heating/cooling)
- Challenge: Algae, leaves, organic load and sediments
- Solution: Self-cleaning aquaPROFI filters with self-priming vacuum pump
Dust Suppression in Quarry
Process water from small lake
Process water filtration from a small lake – typical challenge for surface water: organic load, biofilm and fluctuating water quality. aquaPROFI filters reliably and self-cleaning.
- Water Source: Small lake (surface water)
- Application: Process water supply, protection of spray nozzles
- Challenge: Biofilm, organic load, fluctuating quality
- Solution: Self-cleaning aquaPROFI filter on a mobile frame

Infrastructure for Construction Site Setup
Container system with high capacity
Prefabricated container system: fully piped, wired and tested. Connect on site and put into operation – within hours instead of weeks. The mobile unit for relocation every few years.
- Water Source: Collected water from a large construction site
- Application: Process and cooling water supply
- Challenge: Operational reliability under fluctuating load and reusability of the system
- Solution: Fully equipped container with integrated filter system and pump including backup
